What does a session feel like?
Pulses can feel hot, prickling or sharply tender, particularly over bony or nerve-rich areas. Pain should be communicated rather than endured so placement and settings can be reassessed.
Can HIFU reduce facial fat?
Unwanted fat loss or hollowing is a concern when energy reaches inappropriate tissue or a lean area is poorly selected. This is one reason tissue thickness and treatment depth need careful planning.
When should I judge the outcome?
Use comparable photographs after the proposed remodelling period, often three to six months. Early swelling or temporary tightness can exaggerate an immediate impression.
What needs urgent follow-up?
Blistering, burns, worsening pain, persistent numbness, weakness or an unexpected change in facial movement requires prompt assessment. Sudden facial droop can have other serious causes and warrants urgent medical care.
