What the Glasgow service actually is
VIVO Glasgow uses externally applied ultrasound and RF devices; vacuum treatment may be discussed if available. No filler is injected and no fat is harvested or transferred.
The likely effect is therefore fundamentally different from surgical fat-transfer BBLs or so-called liquid BBLs. Surface devices cannot promise a larger buttock, major lift or surgical reshaping. Body-contouring effects depend on the authorised device and can be temporary.

Therapeutic ultrasound requires intact skin and complete contact; it can cause pain, blisters, burns and nerve injury. RF can cause pain, swelling, burns, nodules, pigment change and scarring. Tell the practitioner immediately about painful heat or unusual sensation.
Disclose pacemakers or active implants, metal near the site, tattoos, scars, surgery, medicines, pregnancy or breastfeeding, skin disease, reduced sensation and current health care.
